Nottingham East Midlands Airport operates from a single terminal that is responsible for handling both arrivals and departures of flights to and from a wide variety of destinations.
The airport has been subject to several makeovers and renovations during the last decade and is a modern, well-run facility that offers a good selection of amenities and services.
The airport's information desk can be found in the main terminal building, while passengers wanting a little retail therapy will find a number of shops on hand including Boots, Dixons, World News, Spar and a duty-free facility provided by Alpha. For dining and refreshments, there are popular names such as Caffe Ritazza, Costa Coffee and Burger King as well as two food halls serving a wide variety of food choices.
The Three Cities Bar is also on hand for soft and alcoholic beverages. Extra facilities include an Internet station, executive lounge, travel agency, first-aid room and a chaplaincy service.
There are bureaux de change on hand in the main terminal building, while ATMs can be found in the Arrivals area. Public telephones are dotted around the facility, while fax and photocopy machines are available at the information desk. There is also an Internet station near to Costa Coffee in the Arrivals area. There are no bank or post office services at the airport.
Facilities for passengers with special needs conform to European Union standards and include wheelchair access throughout via ramps and lifts as well as disabled toilets and ample disabled parking spaces.
